Meetings

Collage Artists of America (CAA) holds five meetings a year at which renowned guest artists share current works and present stimulating programs that include slideshows, demonstrations and Q&A sessions. The roster of recent guest presenters includes Trudi Sissons, Della Wells, Alvaro Sanchez, Meikel S. Church, with past luminaries such as Stan Orlovski, John Measures, Kathi Flood, David Brady, Maris Leahy, Kathryn Chang Liu, the late Gerald Brommer and many others.

Exhibits

One or more member exhibits are held each year at a variety of traditional and alternative venues, currently some are online via Zoom. A qualified artist from outside CAA juries for selection and awards. (New members are immediately eligible to participate in exhibits.)

Workshops

CAA presents workshops at which members study with a visiting artist to learn tips, tricks, and new methods of working with different mediums. These classes are extremely popular and most are open to both members and prospective members. Workshops are currently held online via Zoom.

Newsletter

The CAA newsletter shares dates of meetings and upcoming programs. It includes announcements from Members and provides information about events of interest to our extended collage community. A link to the Prospectus for each upcoming exhibit is included there.

Artist Web Link

Active CAA members may edit their profile page to include a link to artist's collage-related website. To have website included on the ARTISTS page, send your website URL to the Web Manager (Barbara Tabachnick) at btabachnick@csun.edu
